Mr. K V Krishnan
B M (Bapuji Memorial) School was founded in 1958 by two visionaries – Mr. KV Krishnan and Mr. KS Parameswaran, who were stalwarts in the field having worked in Theosophical Society Madras and inspired by ideals of veterans like Annie Besant, Arundale and Jiddu Krishnamurthi. Over the years the school became synonymous with an institution imparting quality education rooted in our rich cultural heritage upholding the noble values of the Father of our Nation. Over more than half a century, the school has a proud record of achievements and a well established reputation. The commitment of the school to innovation and excellence has been maintained all through.

The school is currently mentored and guided by the Chairman, Mr. KSV Subramanyam, whose golden jubilee of teaching career was celebrated during the Teachers’ Day of 2015. A bust size statue of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was unveiled on the occasion. A post graduate in History and Education, he is an active researcher in the study of gifted children and the development of collegiate education
The ICSE school was founded in 2004 with the mission of re defining the concept of education and schooling. It is rooted in the belief that education should be for life and not just for earning a degree. The following are the maxims on which the school is built
1. To ensure that schooling is stress free, child friendly and skill centred
2. To remain a school with personal touch and have not more than 30 students in a class
3. To work in close liaison with the parents and involve them in all aspects of the school
4. To imbibe in the students love for the earth, nature and the ecosystem and to involve them in nature conservation endeavours
5. To involve students in outreach programmes, where students are given a chance to meet and interact with persons who are placed in a different context
